WHO WE ARE

MCF is a community-based private non-profit foundation devoted to providing resources to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities and mental health needs. Through the provision of comprehensive services and supports, MCF encourages participants to choose where and how they live, learn, socialize and work. We create a personal path to independence by seeing abilities, not disabilities, and strive to provide personalized care and services to the people and families we support. 

Our team members specialize in a Person-Centered  Approach and utilize tools to get to know someone. Each individual is involved in developing service plans which address his/her needs and preferences.  It ensures that we focus on what matters to the people we support.

MCF  operations and training programs are based on the concept that all individuals are capable of benefiting from an active treatment program. We believe people are self-determined individuals endowed with esteem, legal rights, and the capability for achieving their potential.

MCF would also like to  increase opportunities that will enhance independence, promote community membership and improve the quality of life all while having fun. We firmly believe that all people regardless of disability are entitled to opportunities and supports

MCF believes every person should have the opportunity to:

2. Have the right to make informed decisions, make personal choices, and be treated with dignity and respect.

3. To be a valued member and feel like a contributing member of the local community.
